Price I Paid
I paid £9.99 for this product in Superdrug click here for a link.

Design
It would be better if the bristles on the brush were a spaced out more so the product would apply easier but apart from that it is great.

Colour
Little white fibres on a mascara brush.

Texture
This product is simply the little white fibres, you can buy the sets with the official mascara etc as well but I just use any mascara for this as the whole kit retails at about £35!

Smell
No Smell

How to Apply
1 - Apply a thin layer of mascara, try and separate your lashes out as much as possible.  I used the Lancôme hypnose mascara for this but I have tried it with a few mascaras and it doesn't make too much difference as long as the mascara isn't clumpy already.
2 - Immediately after applying the mascara, while it is still drying you need to add the fibres. Be a little careful not to let any big clumps of the fibres fall into your eye on application, re-dip the wand if it looks like there is too much on it.  Use the fibrelash wand to sweep upwards on your lashes.  Only do this in one direction in a few quick sweeps otherwise you just end up with really furry eyelashes and it not only messes up the look, it also clumps up your mascara.  It should look like the photo once applied, fuzzy but not furry!
3 - Apply another layer of mascara.  It really is best to use a newer mascara, I think it is better to buy a new cheaper mascara every 6 months than keep an expensive mascara for a year.  Again it is important to sweep the mascara on only in one direction to straighten out the fibers.  Normally I wiggle the wand a bit when I apply mascara but don't do that for this.  Also don't sweep the wand over your lashes too quickly or it will just brush off the fibres instead of bonding them to your lashes.
The bottom two images are just to show how effective this product actually is at extending your lashes.  The eye on the on the left in the image is the one I used the product on.  The other eye I just did straight with two coats of mascara.  I think this product makes a huge difference as far as mascara goes and is well worth the £9.99.

Overall Reaction
This product has already lasted me almost a year and there is still quite a lot left in the little bottle.  If you look after this product and keep the wand mascara free by picking off any residue after use, you can get an awful lot of uses out of it.  I have sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses and I have never had any trouble using it, it is pretty harmless as it is just white fluff essentially.  I use this religiously and have every intention of re-purchasing it when it runs out!

Price I Paid
I paid £7.  This brand is extremely difficult to get hold of which is a shame.  Sometimes they stock it in Superdrug but I have only really found the Girls With Attitude lashes there.  I don't actually like GWA lashes because I find them to look very un-natural and synthetic, maybe I just don't have enough attitude for them?  Or maybe their version of attitude just means tacky :P. I would still recommend stocking up on this glue from their official website and buying two tubes at once as there is a delivery charge and they don't go off if they are unopened.  The website can be found by clicking here!

Design
This is my favourite glue to use partially because of the design.  I find that the brush applicator makes it much easier to spread on lashes than other brands such as MAC's duo glue which comes in a squeezy tube or Eylure glue which uses a small plastic stick as an applicator.
Although it is not totally handbag friendly as it only comes in the size of the average lipstick but that does mean you get a lot of product for your money.  Having said that, I have never actually had to re-apply it on a night out so I normally bring with a tiny jar of glue that came free with another set of eyelashes when I go out just in case.

Colour
The glue starts off white and dries clear.  It takes roughly one minute to become the tacky consistency needed for eyelash application and another five or so to dry completely.

Texture
The formula of this product is amazing! I have never found a glue that comes even close to the quality of this one.  It has incredible staying power but is not too difficult to remove which is a bonus.  The other night while I was out clubbing, I completely forgot I had lashes on and due to a bad mix of contact lenses and hay fever I suddenly rubbed my eyes quite harshly.  Incredibly my lashes survived and so did my eyeliner, the photo above proves it!
I have used very good quality MAC lashes in the picture above but I can confirm this glue also works really well on Eylure lashes which is another favourite brand of mine and even much cheaper lashes such as some I got off Ebay from China (I will review these in the future).

Smell
Like almost all eyelash glue this one has a strong gluey solvent smell which you can only notice when you first twist open the tube.  Once it has been applied to the lashes the smell disappears completely.

Ingredients
This formula is hypoallergenic.  I have extremely sensitive eyes that are prone to watering alot when I wear my contact lenses and I have never had a problem with this formula.

Overall Reaction
I love this product so much that when it stopped being stocked I hunted it down on their official website and that shows dedication! Until some new and revolutionary eyelash glue comes out in the future, I will be firmly sticking to this one.

Fake eyelash tutorial and review of MAC fake eyelashes number 4!

Price I Paid
The lashes retail at £10.  This is much more expensive than most lashes but they do last longer as well as I have managed to use these 7 or 8 times already and they still look great!  Just make sure you carefully pick off the glue when you are done with them.  Many people say to use tweezers for this but in my opinion that often ends up ruining the lashes so just pick off the huge bits of glue and leave the smaller bits.  It makes application easier if there is a bit of glue left on from last time actually, as gross as that sounds. Also I normally leave this job till the morning after my night out as it isn't worth the stress after a few drinks.  It is a bit disappointing that these lashes from MAC don't come with any glue especially at this price, but any eyelash glue will work with these lashes.

Design
I like lashes that are quite wispy rather than ones that have thick lashes clumped together.  I think these MAC number 4 lashes look really natural, they enhance your natural lashes rather than make it look like you have the often named "caterpillars" stuck to your eyes!

Colour
The lashes are pure black and blend in well once my natural lashes are coated in mascara at the end of the application process.

Application
I find it easiest to apply lashes using the method below although people apply them using many different techniques.
1. Put on your eyeshadow first.
2. Peel the lashes carefully off the plastic base they come up. Then cut the eyelashes (with nail scissors if you have them but any scissors will do) to the length suitable for your eyes.  You can do this by holding them against your own lashline and just judging what looks right, make them shorter by cutting them lash by lash as you can't go back once you have chopped a bit off.  I prefer to cut bits off the outer side of the lash as if you cut it from the inside you will cut off the graduating little lashes that make it look natural.
2. Apply a thick line of black eyeliner, I prefer to use my Chanel Waterproof pencil for this as it has good lasting power, don't use a pencil that smudges easily as the eyelash glue might smear it.  Don't use coloured eyeliner for this because the lash band (the strip that all the lashes are attached to) will be black and the aim is to hide this.  If you really want to use coloured eyeliner use it when you have finished applying the lashes on top of the black line.
Click here for a link to the glue that I used
3. Apply eyelash glue to the lashes in the quantity shown in the photo below.  It should be a thick white line of glue just along the lash band of the lashes.  Try not to let the glue run onto the actual lashes as it will make them stick together, while the lashes are drying you can rest them with the glue downwards, but not touching, the plastic they came on.
4. Wait for the glue to dry. On most packages of glue this states that it needs 30 seconds to dry, I always find it needs a minute.  Don't apply the lashes until most of the glue has dried or you will find that it sticks to your real eyelashes and this hurts to remove.  The semi-dried glue should look like the second glue picture below.
5. Apply the lashes to just above your natural eyelashes. I find it easiest to wink so I can still see rather than doing it without looking (or maybe i just like to wink at myself?) and tilt my head towards the floor while using a mirror positioned higher than me to see where the lashes are going on.  I think it is easiest to apply the lashes from the inside corner first to make sure it is all lined up properly.  Make sure you do not apply them right into the corner of your eye as when you blink you will feel them, apply them half a centimeter from the inside corner.
6. Wait for the glue to dry completely.  This takes about 5 more mins so go get dressed while you wait!
7. Once the glue has dried go over the glue line with a black eyeliner.  I just use my pencil eyeliner over it but as my friends always tell me it probably is better to use a liquid eyeliner but I don't have a waterproof liquid eyeliner at the moment so I just make do.  The aim of this step is to cover the shiny glue to make it blend in with the rest of your eyeliner.
8. Use your eyeliner to line your bottom lashes, it is best to put a line inside the waterline of your eye but if you find that uncomfortable just do it however you normally would. Make this quite a bold line as your top lashes will be quite bold so you want to even the look out.
9. Use a mascara that has not gone clumpy and put one thin coat over all of your real and fake lashes.  This is to bind them together a bit so you do not look like you have two layers of lashes.  I really recommend using the newest mascara possible for this as clumps in fake eyelashes looks awful!  Also make sure that when you coat your bottom lashes in mascara you do not get clumps as you want them to look as wispy and spread out as your top lashes.
That is it - off you go!
10. Remove the lashes by just peeling them off from the corner.  If you have any excess glue you will need an oil based eye makeup remover to get rid of them, Lancôme's Bi-Facil eye makeup remover is amazing for this.

Overall Reaction
I love these lashes by MAC they last really well and look very natural (compared to most other lashes) and I would definitely re-purchase them!
